A Special Connection

Working with Tori and Steven was a blast. They have sparkling personalities that made planning incredibly fun. I've known Tori since she was little and even taught her dance during our younger years. From our first meeting, I sensed this would be a memorable experience. Both Tori and Steven share a love for all things sparkly and extravagant, and New Year's Eve was the perfect occasion to celebrate that.

Defining the Aesthetic

During our initial design meeting, we wanted to incorporate the glamour of New Year’s Eve without relying solely on the traditional black, white, and gold palette. Tori adored bright pinks, while Steven preferred navy. We curated a stunning palette consisting of navy, pink, and black, reflecting their unique aesthetics.

This modern and glamorous design was further inspired by navy and black tuxedos paired with vibrant pink florals. Each detail blended perfectly, creating a “sophisticated sassy” aesthetic that encapsulated their vision beautifully.

Collaborative Efforts

The vision for their wedding was brought to life through a collaborative process with an all-star vendor team. The stunning acrylic invitations designed by Serif + Sans set the tone for the event. The beaded sequin overlays from BBJ Linen and the elegant candleabras from Dez Collective added luxe touches.

Magnificent floral installations from Flou(e)r completed the décor, bringing color and life to every corner. An impressive espresso martini ice luge added a fun and interactive element, while firework projections matched Boston’s midnight display, courtesy of Design Light. Each element was crucial to the breathtaking evening celebration for Tori and Steven.

The entire production took place at State Room Boston, managed by Longwood Venue + Destinations. The venue offered an iconic meal that guests raved about, ensuring a delightful dining experience. The evening was beautifully captured by Emily Figuerlli Photography and Vargus Videography.

Reflecting on the event, it was truly one for us to remember forever. The combination of the venue, the décor, and the couple's joyous energy made for an unforgettable celebration.
