Just a quick 25-minute drive from Boston, the secluded park draws attention from families and field trips, but by night - it's where magic happens.
There are multiple places on the property where Ceremonies are able to happen, but nothing is as special as up on the Museum Terrace looking over the whole property. For Dinner and Dancing, deCordova offers a beautiful sailcloth tent behind the museum surrounded by lush tree and gardens. It truly feels like a secret garden space.

Built-in Plan B: It's New England and we are Wedding Planners, so we can't disregard the incredible perk that deCordova offers - a back-up indoor space incase of inclimate weather. Of course the first choice is to host your Ceremony outside, but if those clouds roll in and things are looking sketchy, they have a beautiful blank canvas inside for your to adjust your plans.
Rooftop Sunset Space: On top of the Museum, there is a rooftop terrace perfect for the couple to sneak away and grab some sunset photos away from their guests. It's a view you don't get anywhere else outside Boston and it's the perfect private moment for partners to take a breath before kicking off the night.
Infinite Inspiration: With the rotating art pieces always offering a new experience when you visit the park, there is endless inspiration for your Wedding design. We love using the natural elements surrounding the venue and bringing in the personalities of our couples. Most couples that choose to get married at deCordova Sculpture Park, enjoy out of the box moments - so it's the perfect canvas to play with.
If you haven't checked out this venue (for a celebration or just for fun) - we highly recommend it! They are continuing to add to their realm of inclusions offered to their couples and their list of exclusive vendors is the best of the best in Boston (with variety to choose from in budget and style). Their large parking lot makes it easy for guests to get to and from, but transportation from Boston or the closest cluster of hotels (Waltham) is also a great option!
