When we first sat down with Abby + Dillon to talk about their vision - they said they wanted an "elegant rager." Music to our ears! As college sweethearts, we knew that their guests would be a close knit groups of friends with lots of experience creating an epic dancefloor. All we needed to do was help them turn their Wedding at State Room Boston into their classic and romantic playground.
The State Room is one of our absolute favorites spots in the city. There is no more stunning view of each party of the city that stuns guests every single time. To create that soft elegance Abby and Dillon were looking for, we combined lots of candles with soft white florals and a mirror center plate. Together, the mimicked blended in with The State Rooms's floor to ceiling windows looking out over the glowing city lights. By day, it was a classic New England design and by night, a glowing dance party.
