When the Edmondson's told us the venue they wanted to host their daughter's graduation party was called the American Heritage Museum, we were prepared for a historical house celebrating colonial New England. No lie, our jaws dropped to the floor when we first stepped into the venue to see the large collection of tanks, planes, boats and war memorabilia on display. Our wheels started turning of the amazing things we could do with the space - but balancing the amazing displays with bringing in the family's personal style was one our favorite challenges to date.
We incorporated the family's large collection of aritaware as centerpieces and floral vases throughout the venue. It also inspired our color scheme, red, white and blue - which of course went perfectly with the venue's historic pride! Guests drank Military Mules out of tin mugs while getting personal tours of the Collings Foundation collection. Needless to say, this one is for the books!

This may be one of the cheesiest titles we have written but there are not enough adjectives to describe the feels we had creating this magical birthday party. When our client first approached us and show where they wanted to host a dinner party in the the garden behind their Brookline home. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. When I arrived, just one block over from one of the main streets in Boston, lied a piece of heaven full of tall trees, greenery and lush surroundings. An event decorators dream space!
The guest of honor enjoyed the finer things in life and their home was full of incredible artwork, literature and the MVP of our evening, an endless collection of candelabras. Playing off of the existing majesty of the home, outside and in, we added simple touches to create an Urban Garden Oasis.
Through hanging multiple strands of garden lights in combination with glass orbs holding tea lights, this magical tree that hung over their deck turned into a sparkling sight. So much so, they decided to keep all the lighting up to enjoy for evenings to come! One for the books <3
When Pam and her husband were chosen to host a Dine Around Holiday Dinner Party with their local organization, they were thrilled but overwhelmed with how to transform their expansive home into an intimate dining venue to fit 20 guests. They came to us looking for help planning this special event and advice in how to perfectly transforming their home into an event venue. Their beautiful dining room could only seat 8 (as most homes), however their family room provided an blank canvas for us to play with. After removing their family room furniture and bringing in some great rental pieces, we were able to turn it into a candlelit setting perfect for a feast. With private Chef Chris McFall preparing a delicious 3 course meal, guests shared stories of their favorite gifts as children while toasting to a great holiday season.
One of the things we love most about this line of work is personalizing each event for our clients. What is more personal than hosting an event at your own home? When our client proposed hosting a post-christening reception in her family's backyard, our wheels started turning. Taking a raw open natural space and turning it into a fun, vibrant, welcoming venue is one of our favorite things to do! We played off the natural green beauty of the backyard and added bold whites for a clean, crisp summer atmosphere.
From hanging bud vases, capturing the sunlight and reflecting them through the trees - to floating over-sized circular balloons creating whimsical backdrops, this was one of our favorites!
Last weekend we had the pleasure of producing a one of a kind 50th birthday party for 2 for the most inspiring clients! In collaboration with some fabulous vendors, we put on the party of lifetime celebrating "Ocean's 50."
The party started out at the Boston Yacht Club where guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while looking out over the marina. They were greeted by a Captain and his Mermaid who welcomed guests with photos in front of the the Ocean's 50 backdrop!
Guests look their seats in the dining room and enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal with conversations and laughter. As dinner came to an end, guests were surprised with a sunset boat cruise of their own! They boarded the Hannah Glover from Mahi Cruises to cruise around the harbor while Jacob Sound DJ'ed their sunset dancefloor. The night was perfect and everything our client's wanted. We could tell you more but wee will let the photos speak for themselves!

As if the holiday season isn't special enough - our recent client celebrated the 1 year birthday of their son and truly gave us the opportunity to spread some season joy! "We want to turn our garage into a Winter Wonderland." So that's what we did! Take some sheer white drapes, about 3,000 lights, lots of glitter (and a few space heaters), and you got your Winter ONEderland. Nothing gives us more joy than a happy client - but a happy client who couldn't recognize their garage and wants to do it every year? Mission accomplished!
